Roller skate with guide rollers
Areas of application
- For longer travel distances and/or continuous loads with additional lateral loads
- Can be used on suitable tracks such as (crane) rails and/or beams
- The number and arrangement of guide rollers is customised and determined by the customer.
Main features
- Robust, low-maintenance welded construction to maintain the direction of travel
- Customised to customer requirements depending on road profile
- Minimum requirements for the roller skate model: hardened centre plate; roller material 50 CrV4 is recommended.
Instructions for use
- For manufacturing purposes, it is essential to specify the profile or the dimension "X". The dimension "X" is the distance between the centre of the roller skate and the inner edge of the guide roller, taking into account the track clearance.
Example: When using an HEB 200 beam, the track width is 200mm.
The measurement “X” is calculated from half the track width plus a clearance of typically 5mm. In this case, “X” = 105 mm (200mm : 2 + 5mm ).
Clearance lower than 5mm are of course also possible.
- Particularly recommended arrangements of the guide rollers:
- If little is known about profile parallelism (beam/rail), only use one profile and select the roller skates on this profile in the FR-E arrangement.
- For precisely laid profiles, equip the roller skates on both profiles with the FR-C arrangement.
- If it is not possible to attach guide rollers to the side, we recommend guide rollers that are attached to the front and/or rear in line with the specified profile (see roller skates with guide rollers).
- Modifications to the drilling pattern in the top plate on request
- The screw head of the guide rollers on models I-III can be positioned inwards on request.
- The large guide roller can also be selected for the Model IIIv.
- Maximum displacement speed ≤ 5 m/min.
