Roller skate with swivelling top plate
A swivelling top plate can improve load distribution, for example on uneven track. Alternatively, this design allows the load to be threaded in when the top plate is screwed to the floor and the roller chain is facing upwards.
Roller skate with guide rollers
If side-mounted guide rollers cannot be used due to space constraints, it is possible to guide the roller skate on the track using idlers. Even on very flat tracks, e.g. inside a production hall, idlers are a good alternative to lateral guide rollers. Unlike guide rollers, however, idlers rollers cannot absorb large lateral forces.
Roller conveyor with support rollers
Support rollers prevent the roller carriage from being lifted off the track by any lifting force that may occur.
Roller skate with track
Each roller skate can be sold ex works with the perfectly suited track. The model shown here is used to enable movement due to temperature fluctuations. In particular, the absence of static friction in roller skates makes this product ideal for any application involving the absorption of expansion movements, especially after long periods of inactivity.
Roller skate with flat chain
Roller skates generally only work on surfaces that can withstand the high Hertzian pressure that occurs. If it is not possible to use a suitable track, surface pressure can be significantly reduced by using a flat chain.
Roller skate with curved centre plate
Roller skates with curved centre plate can be used to rotate very heavy shafts, for example. The plate can be convex or concave, allowing travel within a cylindrical space. For example, customers in the industrial furnace construction sector use roller skates with curved plate.
Roller skate with internal guide rollers
Roller skates with internal guide rollers can be used to move a load within a U-profile.
Roller skate for offshore use
Börkey has decades of expertise in the offshore industry for use on ships or oil rigs. Several special designs for our offshore customers therefore have individual approvals from the classification societies DNV-GL or ABS.
