Model C
Areas of application
- for short transport distances
- transport medium-heavy loads, e.g. in furnaces, from technical facilities, for concrete formwork, in warehouse technology
- can be welded to the load
- can be used with minimal installation dimensions
Main features
- stable, solid basic construction
- lowest height with tolerated height dimension, series ... B + … C same height
- can be welded to the load if necessary
- Model C-H (with hardened centre plate) is used when the roller skate is not moved under heavy load for a long period of time. This prevents the hardened steel rollers from pressing into the standard non-hardened centre plate and ensures consistently low rolling resistance.
- Model C-H-50CrV4 (roller material 50CrV4) is recommended if the risk of short-term overload beyond the specified load capacity of the roller skates cannot be ruled out or is likely.
Instructions for use
- For longer downtimes (discontinuous transport), select models with hardened centre plate.
- In the event of possible overloads, use higher-quality roller material 50CrV4.
- Maximum travel speed: ≤ 5m/min.
- Height can be further reduced on request
- The rolling resistance for models I-IIIv is 7–5% of the total load, depending on the track, and 5–3% for larger models.
- Possible use of loose roller chains in scaffolding construction (usually available in desired lengths)
