Model AM-H
Areas of application
- For longer travel distances and/or continuous movement under continuous load with medium (M) chain guide
- Moving heavy loads over long periods of time and distances (e.g. feed scaffolding in bridge construction, telescopic guides, gantry cranes, lock gates or as machine elements)
- Particularly stable construction thanks to continuous top plate
- Particularly low wear thanks to chain guide (no lateral movement of the chain, thus no wear on the bolt heads)
- Can be screwed to the load
Main features
- Robust overall construction (frame construction)
- Low height, interchangeable with series ..A+ +..AM identical
- Fixed connection, as the load plate or top plate can be screwed in place
- Most stable load acceptance and distribution
- Reduced wear thanks to roller chain guide (no lateral movement of the chain, thus no damage to the bolt heads)
- Model AM-H-50CrV4 (roller material 50CrV4) is recommended if the risk of short-term overload beyond the specified load capacity of the roller skates cannot be ruled out or is likely. From size Vv (1250 kN) upwards, 50CrV4 roller material is used as standard.
Instructions for use
- For applications with a vertically running roller axis, please inform the manufacturer first.
- Models I-IIIv have 4 mounting holes: the middle ones are omitted.
- Maximum travel speeds: ≤ 5 m/min.
- For uncontrollable load distribution problems (e.g. wind pressure), choose models with a hardened centre plate and higher-quality roller material 50CrV4.
- The rolling resistance for models I-IIIv is 7–5% of the total load, depending on the track, and 5–3% for the larger models.
- Also available with guide rollers
- Modifications to the drilling pattern on request
- Corrosion protection (galvanising or stainless steel) on request
